Lesson 1: Always carry a camera! I attended an event and almost didn't bring my camera. On my way out I saw black oystercatchers. Luckily I was parked close by with my camera in the trunk. I think this was the closest I've gotten to them and they only mildly took notice of people.

June was a very busy month for me. I finished my insect study at the nature center, finished my classes, finished my presentations at Audubon, and spent endless hours of phone calls for technical support (and I don't think I'm done yet). I am now looking forward to having the summer off!

Good bye 2014. You were a great year! What a way to end the year!
