When we think of pollinators, we think of bees. More specifically, we think of European Honey Bees (Apis Mellifera). However, there are many more types of bees and insects and birds that pollinate our native flowers.

National Pollinator Week was designated in 2007 by the U.S. Senate (S.Res. 580) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
