The blue whale is believed to be the largest animal that has ever lived on Earth. These whales are 78-100 ft long and weigh 160,000-300,000 lbs. They usually blow in a relaxed fashion 8-15 times at 10-20 second intervals and then dive for 10-20 minutes.
